Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager

Pitch and secure new sponsors, build the packages that sell, and look after the partners already backing the league.

The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is the official organized ice hockey league in Egypt, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo. The league runs competitive seasons across its clubs, player development programmes, and community outreach initiatives to grow the sport from Cairo to Alexandria, and is actively working toward IIHF recognition. We're looking for a Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager to help build and manage the commercial relationships that support the league's growth.

What you'll do

  • Identify, pitch, and secure new sponsorship and partnership opportunities with brands, businesses, and organizations
  • Manage relationships with existing sponsors and partners, ensuring they receive agreed-upon deliverables and value
  • Develop sponsorship packages, proposals, and pitch materials tailored to prospective partners
  • Collaborate with league staff to activate sponsor benefits at games, tournaments, and community events
  • Track and report on partnership performance, renewals, and revenue against targets
  • Represent the league at events, meetings, and negotiations with current and prospective partners

What we're looking for

  • Experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, or a related commercial role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing partnership deals
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, from small businesses to larger organizations
  • Comfort working with proposals, contracts, and reporting on partnership deliverables
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple partner relationships and deadlines at once
  • Genuine interest in sports, sports business, or growing an emerging sport

Nice to have

  • Experience in sports sponsorship or the sports/entertainment industry
  • Familiarity with the Egyptian or wider Middle East business and sports landscape
  • Experience working with a small or growing organization where roles are broad and hands-on
