Data Deletion

How to request removal of your ENHL personal data

We believe you should control how your information is used. Follow the steps below to request deletion of the personal data the Egyptian National Hockey League maintains about you or the players you manage.

Step 1

Gather the details we need

To protect our community, we can only process deletion requests once we confirm your identity. Please be prepared to share the email address or phone number associated with your ENHL account, along with any teams or programs you participated in.

Step 2

Submit your request

Email privacy@egyptianhockeyleague.com or fill out the form on our contact page with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include the identifying information listed above and specify whether you want all records removed or only certain services (such as newsletters or player profiles).

Step 3

Verification and follow up

Our privacy team will acknowledge your request within five business days. We may contact you to confirm your identity or clarify the scope of the deletion, especially if you manage accounts on behalf of a minor or an ENHL club.

Step 4

Deletion timeline

Once verified, we aim to delete or anonymize the requested data within 30 days. If legal or contractual obligations require us to retain specific records (for example, financial transactions or safeguarding reports), we will explain what is being retained and why.

When we cannot delete everything

Some records must be preserved even after a deletion request. If this applies to you, we will limit access to the data and explain our legal basis in writing. Common exceptions include:

  • Financial and transactional records that we must retain for auditing or legal compliance.
  • Safety reports or disciplinary files required to protect players, staff, and volunteers.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be linked back to you.

Need additional help?

Contact our privacy team at privacy@egyptianhockeyleague.com or call +20 (0)2 1234 5678. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may escalate the matter to the Egyptian data protection authority.
