The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to help tell the story of the league as it grows the game of ice hockey across Egypt. This role will be responsible for producing and publishing content that covers game days, club news, and league milestones across EHL's social channels.
What you'll do
- Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content at games, practices, and league events
- Write and schedule posts for social platforms covering match results, recaps, and player and club features
- Work with league staff to source storylines from news, standings, stats, and schedule updates
- Maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with the game week and season schedule
- Monitor engagement and respond to community comments and messages across channels
- Repurpose league content (schedules, standings, news articles) into shareable social formats
What we're looking for
- Prior experience creating and managing content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, or similar)
- Strong photo and video editing skills using standard mobile or desktop editing tools
- Comfortable working on-site at games and events, including evenings and weekends during game weeks
- Strong writing skills with an eye for storytelling and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet publishing deadlines
Nice to have
- Interest in or knowledge of ice hockey or other sports leagues
- Experience covering live sporting events for social media
- Basic graphic design skills for templated post creation
