The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) — Egypt's official organized ice hockey league, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo — is looking for a Recruiter to help build out its clubs, coaching ranks, and league operations as the sport grows from Cairo to Alexandria. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help shape talent pipelines for a young, fast-growing sports organization.
What you'll do
- Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for open roles across the league and its clubs
- Partner with hiring managers and club leads to understand role requirements and hiring timelines
- Manage candidate pipelines and keep applicant tracking data accurate and up to date
- Write and post job descriptions, and help promote open roles through relevant channels
- Coordinate offer processes, reference checks, and onboarding handoffs
- Support outreach efforts to attract coaches, officials, and administrative staff as programmes expand
What we're looking for
- Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR function
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple open roles at once
- Comfort working with applicant tracking systems and standard recruiting tools
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with stakeholders across a growing organization
- Interest in sports, sports administration, or grassroots athletic development
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting for sports organizations, leagues, or nonprofits
- Familiarity with hiring for both full-time staff and volunteer or seasonal roles
- Arabic and English language skills
