The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is looking for a Motion Designer to help bring the league's games, players, and storylines to life across video and digital platforms. This is an opportunity to shape the visual identity of a growing sports league as it builds its brand from Cairo to Alexandria and beyond.
What you'll do
- Create animated graphics, lower thirds, and title sequences for game broadcasts, recaps, and highlight reels
- Design motion content for social media, including announcement videos, schedule graphics, and player features
- Develop and maintain a consistent motion style aligned with the league's visual identity
- Edit and animate video content for news stories, tournament coverage, and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team to translate ideas into polished animated assets
- Manage multiple projects and turnarounds around game schedules and league announcements
What we're looking for
- A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating strong motion design and animation skills
- Proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience creating motion graphics for social media and broadcast or video content
- Strong sense of typography, timing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines tied to live game schedules
- Comfort taking feedback and iterating quickly on creative direction
Nice to have
- Experience working in sports, broadcast, or league/team marketing environments
- Familiarity with 3D animation or Cinema 4D
- Interest in or knowledge of ice hockey
