From First Steps to a National Movement - Developing Ice Hockey in Egypt
Ice hockey is more than just a sport—it's a new chapter in Egyptian athletics. With the launch of the ENHL, we're laying the groundwork for sustainable growth, grassroots participation, and national pride. Through strategic partnerships, local investment, and community engagement, we’re turning a bold idea into a thriving reality.
- Infrastructure & Facilities. We're working to expand access to professional-grade rinks across Egypt—starting in Cairo and extending to coastal and tourism hubs. Our goal is to make the ice more accessible for training, competition, and public skating.
- Youth & School Programs. Introducing hockey to kids through schools and after-school programs is at the heart of our development model. We're creating fun, safe entry points for young players and building a generation of future talent.
- Coach & Referee Training. With international support, we're developing certified coaching and officiating pipelines in Egypt to ensure the game is taught and run at the highest standard, from youth clinics to national matches.
